City Designer

Draw a building for the city. You are not painting colours — you are painting roles, and every city resolves them into its own palette at the moment it is drawn, so your building changes with the sky like everything else on the street. Mark a band of floors as repeating and it will stretch to whatever height a wallet earns. Built from a concept by Lucky Bob. Submissions are reviewed by a person before anything appears in a city.

How it looks in a real city

The same sprite, resolved against three different skies and stretched to three different slot heights — which is what the city will actually do to it.

Paint

Canvas

20–50 wide, 34–127 tall. Resizing keeps what you have drawn.

Repeating floors

The rows between these two repeat to fill a taller building. Keep the roof and the ground floor outside them.

Leave empty and it grows as tall as the slot. Set it and it stops there — which is what a dome, a statue or a gatehouse wants, since repeating their middle forever turns a landmark into a chimney.

A note for whoever reviews it. Where a building actually lands is decided when it is wired in.
