QUESTIONS.

Straight answers, including the ones that are just "we have not decided that yet". Those are marked, so you can tell the difference.

Who runs this?

The machine is run by the thing in the walls — the lights, the arithmetic, the boxes, the riddles, the part that reads your wallet at four in the morning. The ideas come from someone in the room. That is as much as either of them will say about it.

How do I contact the team?

Ask in #support, in the open, always. Never in DMs, and there is no exception for anybody. A question asked in public gets answered once and helps everybody who reads it afterwards; a question asked in a DM cannot be told apart from the person pretending to be us. Nobody from this project will ever DM you first.

Are you taking mods?

No, and there is no form. If somebody is already providing real value in the room, we notice and the offer goes to them — that is how everybody carrying a role got it. There is nothing to submit and nothing to wait on.

What is this?

An experiment, for now. You point it at an address on Robinhood Chain and it draws that wallet as a pixel-art city — what it holds, how often it trades, how long it has been around. The wallet changes, the city changes.

There is a demo on the home page you can drag through, from an empty lot to a full skyline. That is the whole product as it stands today.

Is the art random?

No. Nothing is rolled from a trait table. Every building is there because of something the wallet actually did — a position it holds, a trade it made, somewhere it has been. Hold NVDA and a chip factory turns up. Two identical cities would mean two identical portfolios.

Can I see my own wallet as a city?

Not at the moment. Generating from a live wallet is switched off and comes back for holders when the collection is out. The demo runs the same renderer on a fixed wallet, so what you see there is what the thing actually does.

Do I have to connect a wallet?

Not to look at anything. The demo, the gallery and this page never ask you to connect one, and there is nothing here to sign or approve. Minting will need a wallet and a signed transaction, like any other on-chain action.

How many are there?

3,333. Fixed, and not something we can change later.

What does it cost?

Three prices, depending on where you stand:

Locked in — free. One city, no charge.
Key listed — 0.004 ETH. One in the GTD window, up to five once the multi-mint phase opens.
Public — 0.007 ETH, if any are left by then.

The only difference between free and 0.004 is whether you locked in. It takes about a minute and it is open now.

When is the mint?

Saturday 29 August 2026, 22:00 UTC. It runs in three phases:

Sat 29 Aug, 22:00 UTC — the GTD window opens and runs 24 hours. Locked in mint free, key listed pay 0.004, one each.
Sun 30 Aug, 22:00 UTC — every key nobody claimed rolls over, and key listed wallets can take up to five at 0.004.
Mon 31 Aug, 10:00 UTC — public at 0.007, first come first served.

The countdown on the home page is running against those times.

How do I get on the key list?

Three ways, and all of them are open now:

Claim one. If you hold a StonkBrokers, ChainMancer, BTC Ordinals or Stackers NFT, there is a pool of free keys you can claim right here — first come, first served.
Win one. We run giveaways in Discord.
Collabs. We allocate keys to partner communities. Those are announced in their servers, not here.

Nobody will ever DM you a spot. Anyone who does is not us.

How do I check whether I already have a key?

Paste your wallet on the start here page and it will tell you where you stand and what to do next. The same check sits on the home page and on the lock-in page.

Nothing is signed and no wallet is connected for any of it — it only reads a published list.

What does "locking in" mean, and do I have to?

Locking in is how a key becomes free. You post about the drop on X and paste the link back on the lock-in page, and the wallet is confirmed against that post.

You do not have to. A key listed wallet that never locks in still mints — it just pays 0.004 instead of nothing. Locking in is open until the GTD window opens on 29 August.

One key per person. Using the same post for more than one wallet gets every wallet involved removed from the list. If that happened to you in error, open a ticket in Discord and a person will review it. Eight wallets were removed this way already.

What do I actually get if I mint one?

A city that redraws itself from live chain data, so it keeps changing as the wallet behind it does rather than sitting still in a folder. That is what we are offering.

We are not going to list anything beyond that. Things we have not finished are things we will not describe, and things we are keeping back are meant to be found rather than announced.

Is there a token?

Nothing to announce.

Is this an investment?

No, and please do not treat it as one. It is a generative art project. Nothing here is financial advice, an offer, or a promise of any return, and digital assets are volatile and can lose all of their value. Our risk disclosures spell that out properly.

A bigger skyline means a wallet has transacted a lot and holds a lot. It is not a judgment that any of those positions are good ones, and it predicts nothing.

Is this Robinhood's project?

No. City of Stonks is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Robinhood Markets, Inc. It reads Robinhood Chain, which is a public blockchain, and refers to it by name. That is the entire connection.

Ticker symbols and company names identify on-chain assets only. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.

What do you store about me?

No account, no email, no cookies, no trackers. We never ask for a private key or a seed phrase and there is nothing here to sign. The privacy policy is written from what the software actually does rather than from a template — if something in it is not true, that is a bug.

Can I write about it or use the artwork?

Yes. The press kit has boilerplate, fast facts and naming rules, and brand assets serves everything as SVG, PNG and video, generated live by the same engine that draws the cities. Nothing there is a mockup.

Is anything deployed?

Not yet. The contract goes to mainnet before the window opens on 29 August, and the address is published on the mint page the moment it does. Until then there is no contract address, and anything claiming to be ours is not.
