MOVE YOUR KEY
Key on a wallet you would rather not mint from? Move it. One transaction, about a minute, and nothing to connect or sign.
How it works
The proof is a transaction you send yourself. Only the owner of the old wallet can send it, and it names the new wallet, so nobody can move your key by typing your address into a form.
- From the old wallet — the one with the key — send a transaction of 0 to the new wallet. Gas is about 0.0000004 ETH, so effectively free.
- Wait for it to confirm.
- Put the new wallet address and the transaction hash in below.
Send it to a wallet you control. A transaction can be sent to any address on earth. If you send it to one you cannot open, the key goes there and nobody can bring it back.
Move it
Both addresses are read out of the transaction itself, never out of this form — the address above is only checked against it, so a typo is refused rather than acted on.
What happens to everything else
The new wallet goes on the key list and the old one comes off it. One key is one wallet, so the new one must not already have a key of its own.
If you already locked in, it follows the key — same date, same post, nothing to do again. Your Locked In and Key List roles in Discord stay exactly as they are; those are about you, not about an address.
